Privacy Policy for Wander
This Privacy Policy explains how AEBU Technology, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in the Wander — AI Tour Guide mobile application (the "App"). Wander is an AI-powered virtual tour guide that narrates places and points of interest.
The Short Version
- Wander does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, or password.
- We do not run our own servers that store your personal data, we do not use advertising, and we do not track your location.
- The App's AI features work by sending your requests to Google's Gemini API using an API key that you provide.
Information Handled by the App
- Your Gemini API key. To use the AI features, you enter your own Google Gemini API key. This key is stored only on your device. We do not receive, collect, or store your key.
- Your requests to the AI. When you ask Wander to narrate a place or answer a question, the text you enter is sent from your device to Google's Gemini service (using your key) so the AI can generate a response. We (AEBU Technology, LLC) do not receive or store the content of these requests.
- Camera photos (Traveler's Lens). If you use the in-app camera to identify or learn about something, the photo you capture is sent to Google's Gemini service (using your key) so the AI can describe it. Photos are otherwise stored only on your own device. We do not collect or store your photos.
- App settings. Your chosen guide persona, model, and preferences are stored locally on your device only.
Because these AI requests are processed by Google, they are subject to Google's privacy practices. You can read Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
What We Do Not Collect
Wander does not collect your location, does not contain third-party advertising, does not use third-party analytics trackers, and does not transmit your personal information to us. Narration is read aloud using your device's built-in text-to-speech, which does not send data to us.
Purchases
Wander offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock full features. Payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details; Google handles the transaction. You can review Google Play's terms in the Google Play Store.
Content Reporting
If you report AI-generated content within the App, that report is stored locally on your device to help you flag content you find objectionable. It is not transmitted to our servers.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our own servers, there is no personal data held by us to delete. You remain in control on your device:
- You can remove your API key at any time within the App's settings.
- You can clear the App's stored data through your device's app settings, or by uninstalling the App, which removes the data Wander keeps on your device.

Wander is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
